I asked a number of fishermen to think of the colour of the sea, i.e. the colour they imagine it to be. I then showed them a Pantone colour chart and asked them to select this colour from the chart. It is a very conceptual question and difficult for anyone to answer. However, their profession is closely linked with the sea so they could choose one colour from their experience. I enjoy spending time with fisherman who are thinking about and imagining their own colour of the sea. I think this is Art. (Michico Amali)
